It seems very possible that quite soon the inhabitants of Krakow will finally be able to enjoy the New face of the Old Town. But this is not the only good news for the citizens and enthusiasts of the city. The municipal authorities decided to ask all people interested for the suggestions concerning the changes mentioned above.
On 16th March, the project of  the Old Town development plan is going to be available in the Area Development Office of the City Council in Krakow in 1 Sarego Street or on the following website:  http://planowanie.um.krakow.pl. Since that moment all people who want to comment on the changes or suggest alterations to the plan are welcome to do it.  
The plan is supposed to cover the street of Straszewskiego, Podwale, Dunajewskiego, Basztowa, Westerplatte, Å›w Gertrudy and BernandyÅ„ska, including Wawel Hill and its surrounding together with the left Vistula embankment till Podzamcze street. The authorities claim that the plan is supposed to protect historical areas and, at the same time, it is going to secure various uses of the mentioned places, including clear rules of their development and public use.  Does that mean that the area which has been treated as the pride of the city is going to achieve this status completely? Well, it all seems very possible.
